AJAX v St Bernards - Away

St Bernard’s, who many believe are the benchmark of Premier B in 2023 played an assertive style of football with good ball movement patterns.  Jumped out of the gates early with a 5 goal first quarter.  In contrast to the scoreboard AJAX’s intensity was far higher than it had been in previous weeks and AJAX were not out of the game at quarter time.

In their best quarter of the season so far AJAX matched and better the favored opponents to kick 3.4 in the second quarter and place St Bernards under pressure causing turn overs and providing opportunities to score.  

Again, AJAX let themselves down with final skill execution not taking the chances they had created.  

AJAX maintained their pressure for the remainder of the day but also unfortunately also maintained their skill errors permitting St Bernards to take the victor.  

It was an improved effort from AJAX but there is still no win in the win column.
