In a game that saw all 4 seasons in one day AJAX took on Old Trinity at Daley Oval. Old Trinity were inaccurate early kicking 4. 6 in the first quarter due to some good pressure from AJAX. AJAX responded with 4 goals in the second quarter leaving the game evenly balanced at half time. The rain had had a huge impact in the second quarter with AJAX handling the conditions well. AJAX played a very well organized defensive game in the 3rd quarter and left themselves in the contest at ¾ time. Despite kicking the first 2 goals of the quarter AJAX could not bridge the gap and Old Trinity ran out 12 point winners.
