Yasha is the Founder and Principal Physiotherapist at MoveWell Physiotherapy Melbourne. He has extensive experience in creating AFL injury prevention and athletic performance programs. His involvement in various sporting environments and Clubs has allowed him to gain experience in AFL, Netball, Tennis, Soccer, Athletics, Cycling, Volleyball, Dancing, Triathlon and Ironman races. Yasha has a keen interest in post-injury and post-operative rehabilitation, as well as pre-operative strengthening. He also runs daily clinical Pilates, rehab and exercise classes for all ages, injury and fitness levels.
Yasha has proudly worked as a sports trainer and Physiotherapist for AJAX Senior Football Club for over 3 years and is privileged to be affiliated with the Club.
The Ajax Football Club has access to the services of Dr Mel Weinberg, a registered psychologist and endorsed sport psychologist.
Mel currently works in private practice and is a Consultant Psychologist within the AFL (Western Bulldogs) and A-League (Melbourne City). She was the sport psychologist for Australia’s Rhythmic Gymnastics team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. In 2017, Mel was the Team Psychologist for the Australian delegation to the Maccabiah Games in Israel, and she accompanied the Australian team to the Pan-American Maccabi Games in Mexico in 2019.
Mel is also a former Maccabi Basketball athlete and has competed nationally and internationally representing Australia at multiple Maccabiah Games.
