Assistant Coach Senior Team
Anthony (Chopper) loves this great game of ours and once he finished playing, wanted to be involved in footy and the next best thing was coaching. As a player, he won 6 senior Best & Fairest at Doncaster FC, having played 250 games between 1990-2001 and 2003-2007.
Senior Captain 1995-2001, winning a Premiership in 1996 and inducted with Life Membership in 2006, he is passionate about coaching young players, giving advice and steering them to give their best, even if it is an improvement of 1%, to him that is very rewarding and satisfying. In 2002 he played 19 games for the season with Mitcham FC.
Chopper joins AJAX in 2020 as Assistant Coach Seniors, having most recently worked with Mulgrave as Senior Coach 2018-2019. He was Senior Assistant Coach with both Trinity FC (2008) and East Ringwood FC (2015-2017) and began his coaching with Doncaster as Reserves Coach 2005-2007.
He is excited to join our Coaching staff and looks forward to a successful season in B Grade.

Ant is an AJAX person to the core, playing 128 games with the juniors and 38 games with the seniors starting in B Grade in 1984, before injuries ended my playing career.
Commencing his coaching career with AJAX Juniors in 1985, Ant has coached in excess of 350+ games in every decade from the 1980’s to 2010’s for 1 flag in 2013, and Life Membership the same year. He assisted the Under 19s for 2 years.
His goal has always been to have junior footballers from our club play senior footy for our club, and as an adjunct to that, make many many mates on the way.
The Lebransky name has been a part of our club since its inception with his dad Graeme being an AJAX FC hall of famer, playing in the original 1957 AJAX team and founder of the AJAX Junior Footy Club in 1972, and my brother Paul playing over 100 games at the senior club.
Married to the lovely Lynnece, for 28 years & have 2 children Tarryn and Ray, he is an upbeat and passionate St. Kilda supporter and a member of the St. Kilda Coterie “The True Believers”.
Anthony has been running a Tender Management Consultancy business – HB’s Consulting Group - since 2000 assisting companies with their 3rd party service Tenders.
Looking forward the 2021 season and beyond and assisting our club achieve the ultimate on and off the field.
Head Coach U19's Team
Ken Sheldon played in his third AFL/VFL premiership at the age of 22 for the Carlton Football Club. During his career he played more than 200 AFL/VFL games and served Carlton, St Kilda and Victoria with distinction.
At the age of 29 he was appointed Coach of the St Kilda Football Club. To this day, Ken was one of the youngest ever senior coaches in AFL/VFL history but quickly assembled a team – on and off the field - to guide the club back into the business of finals football.
Ken’s approach to coaching over the last 30 years is based on combining the authenticity of his personal experiences in business, sport and life.
He coaches/mentors with an eye to an individual’s or team’s goals, behaviour, tone and mental flexibility while adding the discipline of a high-performance framework and wellbeing awareness.
Having worked in a range of senior management roles during his corporate and sporting career, and now as a Director at FIFTHQTR, the characteristics of respect, resilience, trust, coaching and mentoring are forever at the forefront.
Ken is passionate about encouraging and equipping others to succeed in business and in life.
Head Coach Thirds Team
Daniel played for AJAX as a junior right through to Reserves, Seniors and Thirds up until a few years ago. He has moved on to now coach the Thirds who play in a Sunday competition. In 2003 he played in the AJAX Reserves Premiership side beating Monash Uni. which was a highlight.

He is involved in the WNBL with the Southside Flyers through Berwick Mazda where he manages the Sales team.
Head Coach Jackettes, Senior Women
I began my association with AJAX Football Club as co-ordinator of AJAX Auskick program for three years, which was almost 20 years ago (taking over from Ronnie Lewis!) I then continued to coach junior football teams for a further three years. I have been involved at every age level of AJAX junior football since, with all four of my children playing footy at some stage in their lives.
Whether as assistant coach, team manager, runner, water boy, goal umpire or just providing the oranges, I am passionate about all sports and although women's footy is a whole new "ball game" for me, I can honestly say its probably the most rewarding position I have been involved with.
As a Senior coach I don't have much spare time but when I do, I enjoy travelling, spending time with my family and watching Carlton and Sheffield Wednesday!
Assistant Coach Jackettes, Senior Women
Antony (Cookie) has played his entire football career at the AJAX Junior and Senior Football Clubs. He played senior football at the age of 16 and Captained the senior team for 4 years at the age of twenty.
He was Club Champion and named in the Team of the Century. He went on to coach the juniors for 5 years and took on the role of Head of Football with the Junior football club.
Cookie has now come back to the seniors as Assistant Coach to the Jacketts (and loving it). He loves the Club and the support they give him.
