AJAX v Old Carey Away

The D1 boys took on Old Carey's seconds at 11:40 AM walking away 24-point winners, 82-58. 

Despite AJAX being on the back foot early, trailing by 17 points at the quarter time break Brandon Efron had his way, racking up plenty of the ball. 

In a fantastic second quarter fightback to only trail by 3 points at half time, the Jackas dominated proceedings. Brandon Effron had 20 touches to half time and teammates Adam Caplin and Elon Datt were dangerous kicking 3 goals each for the game.

The third quarter was a tightly contested low scoring one, with veterans Jordan Bade-Boon and Brent Shapiro leading from the front. However, the second half belonged to Reece Israel. 

The dangerous forward took an early mark of the year contender and kicked 3 goals which helped spur AJAX to a comfortable 4 goal win to start their season.
