AJAX v Monash Blues

The Sunday Thirds took on the Monash Blues at 10:30am at Frearson Oval, Clayton. Another amazing performance from the team saw them winners by 26 points. Their third win in a row. 

The first quarter was a fantastic contest. It was end to end football that resulted in lots of goals. Jake Jones again starred in this quarter. Kicking 2 goals for the game and amongst the best he was a go-to option in the forward line. 

The second term was where the match was won. The thirds came out flying, kicking 5 goals for the quarter and limiting Monash to just 2. Great play from Zev Aron and Eli Adelist were instrumental in AJAX breaking the game open and taking control.

The second half saw the Jackas in total control. Goals from Zev Aron (2) and Sam Brygel (2) always kept Monash at bay and never able to mount a comeback. 

It was a win to be proud of and the teams third win in a row, walking away 26-point winners.
