AJAX v Old Xaverians

The Sunday Thirds took on Old Xaverians at Gary Smorgon Oval at noon.

The damage was done early with AJAX piling on 8 first-quarter goals to be up by 51 points at the first interval. Sam Brygel starred, kicking 4 goals for the game and amongst the best players for the afternoon.

The second quarter was scrappy. Despite great play from Zev Aron and Joshua Jones the Jackas only managed to kick 1 goal for the quarter. Fortunately, their defence held strong and only conceded 2 goals.

The third quarter was where the game was put to bed. AJAX was fantastic, playing fast free-flowing football. They extended their lead to 52 points at the last break and managed to win 81-47.

The Sunday Thirds take on Beaumaris at Gary Smorgon Oval at noon.
