The Sunday thirds took on Fitzroy at the Brunswick Street Oval at 11:40 AM. In horrible conditions AJAX kept it close in the first quarter thanks to great play from Paltiel and Brygel.
The second quarter was another fantastic effort Brygel starred throughout the quarter and kicked 3 goals for the game.
Unfortunately, AJAX could not sustain this effort in the second half with Fitzroy kicking 3 goals in the third to AJAX’s 1. The team battled hard the entire day but ultimately weren't able to walk away with a win going down 11.15 81 to 7.5 47.
