AJAX v Melbourne High School Old Boys

The D2 team took on Melbourne High School Old Boys at Lindsay Hassett Oval at 1:00 PM.  It was a great day for the Jackas who were in control for the entire game, walking away winners 87 to 13.

AJAX were on top from the jump. In a quarter dominated in their forward half, the Jackas kicked 3 goals and had great performances from Charlie Gross and Kai Gold (3 goals for the game). 

The second quarter saw AJAX build on their first-quarter dominance. Not only did they hold the High School Old Boys goalless they added 2 of their own to extend their lead to 30 points at halftime. 

The third quarter saw Noah Micmacher and Oli Levi-Weitzman lead from the front and play a large role in kicking the Jackas 3 goals in the term. AJAX's defence was rock solid, not conceding a goal for the rest of the game. AJAX led by 50 points at the final break.

Given the advantage on the scoreboard, AJAX cruised in the last term. Kicking 4 more goals to walk away winners 12.15 87 to 1.7 13.
