AJAX v  Emmaus St Leos

The D2 team took on Emmaus St Leos at the Bennettswood Sports Ground at 9:20 AM. It was a fantastic performance with AJAX leading at every break and winning by 86 points.

The Jackas came out of the gates fast kicking 5 goals in the first quarter. It took little time for Brodie Mondel to quickly establish himself as one of the best on the day kicking 6 for the match and setting the tone early. 

AJAX extended their lead at half time to 21 points lead by Sam Polkinghorne-Katz and Jason Nirens. 

The third quarter was where the game was put to bed. The Jackas kicked 4 goals for the quarter and held Emmaus to just one point. 

In the last term, AJAX was able to even further tighten the screws allowing Emmaus to score one point and kicking 6 goals. It was a dominant display and will give the team great momentum for round 4.

The D2 team take on Elsternwick at Lindsay Hassett Oval at 1:00pm.
