AJAX v Old Camberwell Grammarians

The D2 boys took on the Old Camberwell Grammarians at 9:20 AM, walking away 20-point winners, 49-29.

In what was a youthful and exciting team with a few veterans sprinkled in, it was a scrappy and tightly contested first quarter with no goals kicked by either side.

In the second quarter, the Jackas got on the front foot and were able to go in at half time with a 5-point lead. 

The Jackas lead for the majority of the game with a great mixture of veterans and youth. Players like Jake Kalmus were able to be a constant steadier for the team, showing tremendous leadership when Old Camberwell Grammarians looked like mounting a challenge. 

The fourth quarter was where Ajax blew the game open. Kicking 3 goals to Old Camberwell's 1 to win comfortably.
