AJAX v Old Scotch
In round 7 the AJAX Sunday 1s returned to their home ground against Old Scotch. A windy day set up a scoring end, and with the wind in the first quarter AJAX went up 6 goals to none in a first term flurry of goals. Old Scotch rallied and after halftime they had brought the margin back within four goals. In a tough, hard fought game AJAX was unable to hold off the strong finishing Old Scotch team as they powered through the last quarter with the wind to come out on top by only 2 points .
In a bitter loss from a large margin, the Sundays will look to rally and return to their winning brand of footy this week at home again, against St Bernards, in a must win game.
