AJAX v Prahran

Prahran came with the mindset to defend at all costs and play a negative game-plan to stop us from scoring instead of scoring themselves. That was definitely frustrating for our players who found themselves reduced to their level and going away from what makes us a good team. We dug deep and started finding ball movement that went towards our game style: with Nick Pike back after almost 2 years (hasn’t missed a beat), Maor Chrapot breaking lines all day, and the 1/2 punch of Max Herzel and Jake Wrobel once again providing first use to our midfield brigade, the sheer weight of entries meant we were bound to score, and we managed to break them down. 

Brandon Efron and Logan Siegel's pressure, alongside the immense improvement from Noah Spitz intercepting everything, shows that even when we may not be at our 100% best, we are a force to reckon with in year 2025.
