AJAX v Mazenod

The Jackas took on Mazenod at Central Reserve in a gutsy 21-point win. Having 7 changes from last week, and only 1 player on the bench at half time, the Jackas had to dig deep and play it out with reduced numbers.

Slowly building a lead in the first quarter, standouts were Remy Spicer, debutant Bailey Nussbaum and Justin Vogel. All stepped up to provide a handy 20-point lead into the second quarter. 

This is where the Jackas began losing players to injury and began to shift into another gear in the third quarter, extending the lead to 39-points at 3QT.

A strong finish in the end despite the warmer weather and 1 man on the bench, the Jackas pulled through with other shoutouts to Max Herzl, Sam Hendler and Toby Sheezel for exceptional displays of football to get their team over the line.
