AJAX v Williamstown - night match

The All stars played their night match and it was a success way beyond expectations. Whilst we didn’t come away with the lead on the scoreboard we all ended up celebrating like winners. There was a huge vocal supportive crowd, loudly barracking for both teams and all players equally. The atmosphere was so positive and our players felt like AFL stars in front of their adoring families, friends and fans. 

But perhaps to me the most amazing part of the night was to see so many young juniors and kids there to support the team. This shows how the barriers that existed in our day are no longer. We had water boys , goal umpires, spectators who all loved it and had such big smiles and had so much fun. We even had a junior umpire the game. 

A couple of Bialik boys came down just to support Loz who hands out photo copy paper at Bialik 

Really that was the biggest success of last night. 

Huge crowd which is so appreciated by us all the players.

We absolutely loved the night , proudly wearing our AJAX football jumpers and being encouraged by so many. 

A serious team highlight that won’t be topped easily.
