AJAX v Eltham

The all stars travelled (long long bus ride. Sang more songs badly than I usually have to listen too) out to Eltham this week for our Mother’s Day classic. The match was played in great spirit with the opposition and umpire assisting us to have 5 different goal kickers. 

Unfortunately they had 9 goal kickers. 

Every match we have a different captain and give them the Opportunity to address the players before the game starts. This is difficult for some. This week we had Brendan as our captain. Brendan plays every week and tries his best. He is very quiet and softly spoken , he runs up and down and does his best. His speech was great and was something outside his regular comfort zone.
