AJAX v PEGS

Round 10 saw AJAX back on their home deck at Gary Smorgon oval playing against a hungry Pegs side for the second time this year who were looking to ruin AJAX's brilliant run into the second half of the season.

Pegs started well booting the first goal and led into the first break 3 goals to 2. AJAX responded taking a 15 point lead into the main break. 

At the 3/4 break, AJAX led by 8 points and conceded the first in the fourth but a solid defence & mid group helped AJAX stay on top until the final siren, securing a 14 point win.

Jack Wrobel inspired in the ruck earning himself a best on ground performance whilst Jordan Cohen picked up where he left off from the previous week, leading the way with another 6 majors. This win sees AJAX sitting in 2nd place facing Glen Eira in round 11.
