AJAX v Hampton Rovers - Home

Following last week’s loss, it was important that the boys rebounded and made sure we showed the rest of the league why we are a top 2 team. 

The boys starting brilliantly, kicking 6 goals in the first QTR, but let Hampton in with a little sniff with 2 late goals. The boys had a strong second QTR, not conceding a score but couldn’t convert on the our opportunities. 

We knew Hampton would come out with the wind and strong in the 3rd QTR, but put the game to bed very quickly by kicking the first couple of goals. As tensions were starting to boil over, J.Michmacher had a big QTR 3 to silence the haters. We went into 3QTR time 10 goals up. 

Michelson kicked the first of the last, before the boys let a couple slip late, with the final winning margin of 56. 

Rothfield was prolific in the backline, whilst Spitz and Goodman ended with 4 goals each. The midfield also led the way all day. 

Overall, best win of the year.
