AJAX v Elsternwick

The D2 boys took on Elsternwick at Lindsay Hassett Oval at 1 PM. It was complete and utter dominance from AJAX who led from start to finish, romping to a 216 point victory.

Elsternwick were down two rotations down from the start and AJAX took full advantage. The Jackas ran riot through Elsternwick, with star midfielder Bradley Antman (6 goals for the game) leading the way.

After a commanding opening quarter, AJAX were up by 47 points and looked to put the nail in the coffin in the second term. On a day where five players kicked more than 3 goals, AJAX piled on 10 for the quarter to be up by a staggering 110 points at half time.

There were no signs of slowing down. A move to the forward line by Dion Silberman was rewarded with 3 goals and a fantastic performance on the day. Jason Nirens, Brandon Glasser and Noah Micmacher starred in the second half as AJAX finished with a total of 217 points. 

The D2 team takes on La Trobe University at Lindsay Hassett oval at 1 PM.
